'Eye Scream Sun Day'

 (K. Miner) Tetraploid (Spice Hunter x Open My Eyes) 28", 6 1/2", Early-Midseason, Great rebloomer, 5 branches, 25 buds, Evergreen.    Overall, EYE SCREAM SUN DAY is one of the best all around daylilies that we have done to date. The clean contrast of the bright golden yellow, the rich  red eye and the bright golden yellow, again, outside of the red picotee is simply eye catching. Very ruffled for this class of daylily. It was the most popular daylily in the garden over the last two years. EYE SCREAM SUN DAY blooms well above the foliage and has bloomed up to three times in a season on established plants. 'Winter Escapade'

(K. Miner) Tetraploid (Mandalay Bay Music x See His Glory) 27",  5 1/2",  Early, Rebloom, Evergreen.  SEE HIS GLORY has been a great parent. A fellow hybridizer stated the he liked SEE HIS GLORY better than JT DAVIS because of the over all characteristics of its seedlings. That was all I needed to hear. Putting SHG onto MANDALAY BAY MUSIC was a no brainer. The result is WINTER ESCAPADE. WINTER ESCAPADE looks as if it were created from wax. It has good substance and holds up very well to the elements. It blooms well in cool weather and  gets better as the season progresses. On rebloom it is  more extravagant and ruffled. 4 way branching with 25 buds per scape. Easily fertile.   150.00

'Sculpted Seashells'

(K. Miner) Tetraploid (Ed Brown x Bella Sera) 29", 6", Early, Rebloom, Evergreen.  Sometimes when you make a cross something totally unexpected comes out of it. SCULPTED SEASHELLS is a great example of this. With a lot of pink in the parentage of BELLA SERA it sure came out in SCULPTED SEASHELLS. When this flower first bloomed in the seedling bed, all I saw was this bright pink flower. Then when I noticed the sculpting, I knew that I had a keeper. An added dimension that I hadn't even noticed at first, is that it is a bi-color too.  On top of that, it has a nice green throat that ties it all together. These beautiful blooms are displayed on tall scapes that tower above the arching foliage, and have 4 way branching with 20 buds. Fertile both ways.  125.00

'Jewel of the Sierras'

(K. Miner) Tetraploid (Sierra Maiden x Lucid Moment) 29", 5", Early Midseason, Rebloom, Evergreen.   I named this daylily to celebrate one of the greatest natural wonders in California. Lake Tahoe, also known as the "Jewel of the Sierras", and the surrounding landscape is one of the most beautiful destinations on earth.  The blue clarity of the water and the mountains that create this basin are certainly breathtaking. JEWEL OF THE SIERRA  has a lavender blue eye that repeats in the edge of the flower inside the gold edge. The rich colored flowers are proudly displayed on tall scapes that have 4 way branching and 24 buds per scape. Fertile both ways. $125.00

'Arctic Elegance'

(K. Miner) Tetraploid (Spacecoast Cool Deal x Wonders Never Cease) 27", 6", Early, Rebloom, Evergreen.   Those who know me know that I love full, wide, symmetrical daylilies. When ARCTIC ELEGANCE bloomed for the first time I just stared at it all day and said, " Wow". It has incredible substance, wide petals and sepals and commands attention in a garden setting. The large flowers are nicely spaced on a 27", 4 way, 20 bud scape.  ARCTIC ELEGANCE is fertile both ways. 125.00

'Stellar Masquerade' - 2009 Introduction - Free!  with Collection

(K. Miner) Tetraploid (Raspberry Banana Cheesecake X Open My Eyes) 28", 4.5", Evergreen. Stellar Masquerade is a cream colored daylily with a stunning burgundy black chevron eye and matching edge. The 4.5" flowers rise above the foliage on 28",  4 way branched scapes that hold 20 buds. You will enjoy Stellar Masquerade because of it's unique eye pattern, and outstanding garden performance.
